We are “swiss made software”

Label swiss made software

We now officially bear the “swiss made software” label. The label is an initiative to promote the Swiss software industry both at home and abroad. The label stands for Swiss values such as quality, reliability and precision in software development. As of this July, we are one of around 1100 companies that already bear the title.

The «swiss made software» label recognizes companies based in Switzerland that offer software whose value share is at least 60 percent Swiss-made. In our case, there were few questions as to whether we would be certified or not, as our Screenimage Pro software is 100% developed, maintained and supported in Switzerland. We are proud of this principle and have no intention of ever changing it.

Yes, there are inexpensive digital signage solutions from major international corporations or the possibility of developing software cost-effectively by means of onshoring or nearshoring. As specialists for individual communication solutions, flexibility and customer proximity are absolutely central to us. Our geographical and therefore cultural proximity to our customers helps us to understand their needs and incorporate these into projects or the further development of our products. Because we have development in our own hands, we can react quickly to individual wishes or trends. This enables us to be on the market with new features from time to time, long before the big software companies deliver.

If a problem does occur with the software, we can intervene and act immediately. For our customers, this means additional security in terms of the reliability and robustness of their communication solution. For us, “Swiss Made quality” also means that we provide on-site support and maintenance ourselves, are available to our customers and do not hide behind a ticketing system. Of course, this quality standard comes at a cost, but it is worth it, as Genichi Taguchi once said: “Cost is more important than quality but quality is the best way to reduce cost.”
