Digital Signage

Tenant-focused Digital Signage at Wincasa

INITIAL SITUATION

Wincasa is Switzerland’s leading integrated real estate service provider. With the expertise of approximately 1,000 specialists, Wincasa offers its clients a comprehensive portfolio of services spanning the entire property lifecycle. In this context, strategic consulting and positioning, planning, construction, operational management, revitalization, and repositioning of a property are not isolated processes, but rather milestones in a successful overall project aimed at preserving its value.

In 2012, Wincasa approached us with the need to provide tenants and visitors in the buildings they manage with timely and comprehensive information via large screens. It was clear from the start: the traditional “bulletin board” no longer meets the information needs of the target audience.

SOLUTION

What began as an idea has become an essential tool for Wincasa to provide information to tenants and visitors. This is due, on the one hand, to our intuitive software solution, Screenimage Pro, and, on the other hand, to the underlying information architecture, which allows all screens in the properties to be controlled via a single connection or managed locally. However, the property managers themselves play by far the biggest role in this success, as they continuously create new content with great creativity and dedication. In addition to everyday categories such as renovations/maintenance/repairs, administrative information, regulations, waste disposal, events/meetings, and property listings, “soft content” is also included: In the case of “Hochzwei,” this includes all events at Messe Luzern and the Swissporarena, as well as holiday and weekend greetings.

Thanks to templates tailored to Wincasa, posts can be created quickly and always adhere to corporate design guidelines. The displays are mounted directly at the entrance and near the mailboxes, a setup that has proven highly effective. This allows viewers to see the most important information at a glance as they enter the building. It has become clear that the installed digital signage systems reach tenants and visitors more effectively than before, and at significantly lower costs, as there is an increasing need to rely less on interactions via mail and local building maintenance staff.
