20.07.2022 | Our credo is: “we simplify digital information flow.” Each of our Digital Signage systems is tailored precisely to the customer’s needs. This begins with screen design, continues with customised templates, and extends to the individually defined information structure. Every delivered system differs from the others.
For this reason, no Digital Signage project runs exactly the same way. This challenge motivates us every day to find the best solution for our customers. Of course, there are some fixed stages in the project process, which we have summarised for you here.
Initial contact
After receiving an inquiry via web form or phone, we usually schedule an initial meeting including a software demo. We aim to gather information about the potential customer’s requirements in advance so that the presentation and demo can be tailored as closely as possible to their communication needs.
Often, technical questions from the IT department must be clarified at this early stage as well. Thanks to a detailed IT checklist and documentation for our SaaS or on premise solutions, these questions can usually be answered quickly.
During the meeting, we work together to refine the requirement profile, which then forms the basis for preparing an initial offer.
Kick off & concept phase
Once all questions are clarified and the offer is approved, we schedule a kick off meeting. Depending on the complexity of the project, this may be an online meeting or a workshop.
If a workshop is held, it is important to us that all relevant stakeholders are involved to ensure the solution fits everyone’s needs.
After the kick off, we finalise the concept including project documentation. Based on this, the final — and binding — offer is prepared. This is also the moment when the definitive hardware decision is made.
Frequently, this involves selecting display sizes and possible screen locations. Depending on the project, we visit the locations and provide advice on installation, mounting options, fire safety, etc.
Technical implementation
Once the concept and final screen design have been approved, implementation begins.
This is where our technical team steps in. In coordination with the project manager, our application managers and development team execute the technical implementation: templates are created, automated data feeds are integrated, the information structure is configured, servers and players are set up, and much more.
Commissioning
Before the solution goes live, we train the employees responsible for managing the system and explain how “Screenimage Pro” works. The training also typically serves as the system acceptance.
By this point, the hardware is shipped. For installation, we rely on our experienced installation partners. However, customers often choose to have their internal facility service teams handle installation.
The players can easily be connected to the screens via HDMI and, thanks to pre configuration, immediately display the correct content. This is followed by a remote check, during which someone from the technical team verifies each player.
If you have further questions or are planning to implement a Digital Signage project soon, our project managers will be happy to assist you.
