INITIAL SITUATION
EW Sennwald is a medium-sized electrical company that, in addition to operating its own hydroelectric power plant, provides electrical installations, communication networks, and a wide range of electrical equipment. The approximately 40 employees work in various locations and at different times within their respective fields of expertise. In their work, employees rely on being able to access the latest company information and the applicable standards and guidelines at any time and from anywhere. They are rarely at the company headquarters, and when they are, only some of the employees have access to a computer and thus to the intranet. In addition to information essential for their work, EW Sennwald also wants to communicate internally about company anniversaries, events, birthdays, and external offers from its own electronics store, as well as announcements from the plants and other information.

Screenimage Pro, in combination with Screenimage Mobile, is the ideal solution for EW Sennwald. Using the Web CMS, you can enter all the information you wish to communicate to employees via the app in the same place as the news you want to display in your retail store or break room. This means that access to a single platform is all that is needed to ensure efficient and comprehensive communication.
Screenimage Pro is configured so that a specific template is available for every type of message. Each template includes the necessary content elements—such as images, text, titles, QR codes, and other components—and can be published to authorized channels and/or screens. Depending on the template, employees receive a push notification; they must confirm receipt of the message, or they will be notified of the news the next time they open the app. Thanks to the different settings of the respective templates, editors can set the communication goal for each message individually, monitor implementation, and thus easily achieve their objectives.
In addition, EW Sennwald has a direct interface with Microsoft Exchange. This allows the vacation and absence calendar to be displayed in real time. All employees can thus see—from home, on the construction site, or on their way to work—who will be absent, when, and for how long, without needing a Microsoft 365 license. This, too, facilitates day-to-day collaboration within the team.
The management at EW Sennwald places great importance on open and proactive communication with their employees and customers. New guidelines, current offers, and employee anniversaries should all have a place in their communications.
